Senior Frontend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is passionate about building immersive, high-performance web experiences. You will lead the development of our core learning platform, including our interactive fretboard visualization and real-time audio processing tools.

About the Role

At StringLab, we believe learning music should be as beautiful as playing it. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you won't just be building forms and tables; you'll be creating interactive tools that help thousands of students have their "aha!" moments.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build scalable frontend components using Next.js and React.
• Optimize the performance of our WebGL-based fretboard visualizer.
• Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs with complex animations.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for the frontend team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization and accessibility.
• Experience with Three.js or React Three Fiber is a huge plus.
• A passion for music or playing an instrument is preferred (but not required!).
